국문 초록

본 연구는 한 장기이민 학부모의 자녀교육 경험을 통해 이민의 환경에서의 교육경험과 적응특성을 이해하고자 질적 연구로 이루어졌다. 연구의 진행은 총4회의 면담을 약 4주에 걸쳐 일주일 간격으로 실시하였다. 현장텍스트의 구성을 위하여 면담 내용을 녹취하였고, 그 내용을 전사하고 확장하여 코딩하는 과정을 거쳤다. 이민 환경에 서의 자녀교육 경험이라는 주제를 중심으로 여러 하위주제들로 분해하고, 분류된 유의미한 내용들을 현지정착, 언어적응, 문화적응, 자녀의 특성, 정체성, 부모의 양육태도 등의 주제별로 범주화하였다. 또한 경험의 순차에 따라 정착초기, 취학 전, 초등, 중고등, 대학시기 등 이중적으로 범주화 하여 기술, 분석, 해석의 과정을 거쳐 연구텍스트를 구성하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 개별화된 연구 참여자의 경험과 인식을 통해 반영된 장기이민 환경에서의 자녀교육의 과정을 조명해서 적응특성을 보고자 하였다. 연구의 결과, 장기이민 학부모의 자녀교육경험에서 언어습득, 사회성, 문화적응, 학업적응, 진학과 진로문제 등이 나타났다. 따라서 문화정체성, 교육체계, 진로특성, 개인적 특성에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한 교육적, 심리·정서적 지원으로서의 부모의 역할과 언어, 학업, 사회성 및 문화적 적응을 위한 사회적 지지의 필요성 등이 제기되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the educational experience and adaptation characteristics of immigrant parents through the experience of long - term immigrant parents. The progress of the study consisted of four interviews at intervals of about four weeks. The contents of the interviews were recorded for the composition of the site texts, and the contents were transcribed. The children s education experiences in immigrant environment were divided into several sub-themes and categorized meaningful contents into categories. It categorizes them according to themes such as local settlement, language adaptation, cultural adaptation, child characteristics, identity, and parenting attitude. And it categorizes them according to themes, and categorizes them in order of initialization, preschool, elementary school, The research text was composed. The results of this study are as follows. As a result, long - term immigrant parents language learning, sociality, cultural adaptation, academic adjustment, advancement and career problems appeared in their children s curriculum. Therefore, the role of parents as educational, psychological and emotional support based on the understanding of cultural identity, educational system, career characteristics and personal characteristics, and the necessity of social support for language, academic, social and cultural adaptation were raised
