초등학교 저학년 학부모의 담임교사 상담경험에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 저학년 학부모의 담임교사 상담경험을 탐색하기 위한 연구로서 합의적질적연구방법(CQR)으로 실시되었다. 담임교사와 대면상담 경험이 있는 초등학교 저학년 학부모 10명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 합의팀을 구성하여 인터뷰 자료를 분석하였으며, 감수자로부터 분석결과의 타당성을 검토 받았다. 그 결과, 다음과 같이 7개의 영역과 24개의 범주가 도출되었다. 첫째, 상담을 실시하게 된 동기로 학교나 교사의 상담공지와 교사의 스타일과 자녀의 학교생활에 대한 궁금증이 있었다. 둘째, 학부모와 교사는 상담상황에 대해 상호간에 긴장감을 느끼고 있었다. 셋째, 교사와의 상담을 통해 자녀의 모습을 새로운 관점에서 바라볼 수 있었다. 넷째, 자녀와 관련된 문제를 해결할 실질적인 방안을 파악하였다. 다섯째, 교사로부터 동등한 입장에서 수용 받는다고 느끼기도 하였다. 여섯째, 충분히 소통이 되지 않는 피상적인 상담으로 인식되기도 하였다. 일곱째, 상담에서 보는 교사 너머의 모습을 가늠하고 추측하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore counseling experience of lower grades student’s parents with class teacher in primary school by Consensual Qualitative Research analysis method. Total 10 parent participated in this study, and collected data was analyzed and validated by concensus team and supervisor. As a result, 7 domains and 24 subdomains were extracted. These results are as follows: first, parents were motivated to attend counseling by announcement of school or teacher, and by curiosity about teacher and child’s school life. Second, teachers and parents felt tension each other in counseling session. Third, parents became to look at their children from a new perspective through the counseling with teacher. Forth, counseling made parents find useful ways to solve problems of their child. Fifth, parents felt accommodated by the teacher in an equal position. Sixth, parents considered counseling was superficial and uncommunicative. Seventh, parents presumed the informal images of teacher beyond counseling setting. Implications of this study were demonstrated on these results.
