국문 초록

다인종ㆍ다문화 사회로 변하고 있는 한국사회의 구성원 변화는 전 세계적으로 나타나는 국제이주현상과 유사한 모습을 보인 다. 국제이주로 인한 사회적 변화에 대한 저항하는 움직임은 보통 근본주의 혹은 원리주의 모습으로 보이는데, 사회적ㆍ경제적 불안정성은 이러한 근본주의가 폭력적 극단주의로 발전하는 과정의 주요 연결고리로 제시되고 있다. 최근 들어 급증하고 있는 자생테러 및 외로운 늑대 테러리즘은 급진주의 및 폭력적 극단주의가 주요 배경으로 제시된다. 비록 각각의 테러사건에서 나타난 정치적ㆍ종교적 동기는 상이하나, 그 기저 원인에는 급진주의와 폭력적 극단주의가 공통적으로 자리하고 있다는 점에 주목할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 폭력적 극단주의 예방을 위한 탐색적 연구로써 폭력적 극단주의의 동기 및 원인, 다양한 동기에서의 폭력적 극단주의로 인한 주요 테러사건 분석을 중심으로 다루고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 폭력적 극단주의에 대한 대응 및 예방을 위한 시사점을 고찰해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The changing membership of Korean society, which is turning into a multI-ethnic and multicultural society, is similar to the international migration phenomenon that is taking place all over the world. The resistance to social change caused by international migration usually appears to be a fundamentalist or fundamentalist form, with social and economic instability leading to the development of major links to violent extremism. In recent years, radical and violent extremism is cited as the main background in the growing number of auto-terror and lone wolf terrorism Although the political and religious motives that appear in each terrorist incident are different, it is worth noting that radical and violent extremism is common in its background. The study focuses on analyzing major terrorist incidents caused by violent extremism at the heart and cause of violent extremism at various motives, as a exploratory study to prevent violent extremism.
