영문 초록

This study aimed to determine a color scheme for base makeup that can cover facial flushing in a quick and effective manner. For this, a person with the highest degree of facial flushing according to colorimetry was chosen among three young women in their 20s suffering from the problem. For the base makeup, three liquid makeup bases (green, ivory, violet) and two liquid foundations (yellow, beige) were used. With a total of 6 different color schemes, color changes before and after (right after, 1 hour later, 2 hours later) makeup were measured and compared. The results found the following: According to measurement after the foundation(yellow) in case 1, differences in color and brightness rapidly increased, compared to base makeup. On the contrary, saturation declined, having no significant effect on covering facial flushing. The base makeup condition for covering the sudden redness of face in a quick and effective way was ‘case 1 (ivory for makeup base+ yellow for foundation)’. According to measurement after the foundation (yellow) in case 1, differences incolor and brightness rapidly increased, compared to base makeup. In contrast, saturation decreased. In terms of the duration of makeup coverage, coverage was found to not last long regardless of case.
