원도심 내 지역 공동체의식이 범죄두려움의 요인에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 도시가 발달하는 과정에서 최초의 도심기능을 담당한 원도심 내 지역 공동체의식이 범죄두려움의 요인에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 공동체 활성화에 대한 중요성을 제고하고, 이를 통해 범죄두려움을 줄일 수 있는 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 김해시 원도심 3개동 지역에 거주하는 거주민들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하여, 지역 공동체의식과 범죄두려움(물리적 무질서, 사회적 무질서, 구체적 두려움, 일반적 두려움, 취약성)에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과 원도심 내 공동체의식은 범죄두려움(물리적 무질서, 사회적 무질서, 구체적 두려움, 일반적 두려움)에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 취약성에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 결국 개인적 차원에서 공동체에 속해있음으로 공동체 내 개인의 욕구를 충족시키고 구성원이라는 의식이 높으며, 상호 간 영향을 미치고, 서로 공유하고 있는 정서적인 유대감이 높을수록 범죄에 대한 두려움에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the sense of community in the old downtown area and its impact on fear of crime among the townspeople. The study, by exploring such relationship, aims to provide a direction to reduce fear of crime in town and vitalize community as a result. For this the survey data was established by drawing factors for the research analysis through the consideration of preceding researches on sense of community and fear of crime. And Conducting a survey targeting residents of old downtown of Gimhae-si. In the results of the study, the sense of community in old downtown had significant effects on the fear of crime(physical disorder, social disorder, specific fear, general fear). But the sense of community in old downtown had no significant effects on the fear of crime(vulnerability).
