국문 초록

This study is to seek the historical meaning for the Korean Liberation Army that was established as the national army of the Republic of Korea Provisionary Government on September 17th, 1940. The Korean Liberation Army was the main military force to liberate our country that was a colony under the Japan Imperialism. The armed resistance force started to lead the way in preserving our national rights by the loyal soldiers from the 1890s and in1910, we lost our national rights and after the 3.1 movement in 1919, it moved its main base to Manju and Yeonhaeju and resumed its activities of resistance against Japan as an independent army. After the mid 1930s, these independent armies moved into the inner China area and up until the liberation in 1945, it remained as an armed force and the representative armed force against Japan was the Korea Liberation Army.
