대학생들의 대학 특성화사업에 대한 인식:

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학 특성화사업에 대한 학생들의 인식을 분석함으로써 사업의 성과를 점검하고 대학의 특성화 촉진을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 대학 특성화사업에 참여한 총 153명의 학생들을 대상으로 비전과 목표, 교수활동, 교육과정, 교 육시설 및 환경, 행정서비스, 특성화사업 성과 등 6개 요인에 대한 만족도와 중요도를 조사하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들은 전반적으로 대학 특성화사업에 대한 만족도와 중요도를 모두 높게 인식하였다. 교육과정 요인에 대한 만족도 가 가장 높게 나타났고, 행정서비스 요인을 가장 중요하게 평가하였다. 둘째, 중요도-만족도간 차이 분석에서 대대수의 항목들이 만족도보다 중요도가 높게 나타나 전반적으로 대학 특성화사업에 대한 중요도와 만족도간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 대학 특성화를 위해 중점적으로 개선이 필요한 부분은 교수활동 요인에서 ‘교수진의 강의개선 노력’, ‘평가결과에 대한 피드백’, ‘학생 맞춤형 수업’, ‘교수자의 적극적인 진로지도’, 교육과정 요인에서 ‘개설 교과목에 대한 학생 요구 반영’, 교육시설 및 환경 요인에서 ‘실험실습 기자재 구비’, ‘충분한 도서 확보’, 특성화사업 성과 요인에서 ‘전문적지식 확장’, ‘취업실무능력 향상’, ‘진로탐색에 기여’인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중요도에 비해 만족도가 낮은 항목들에 대해서는 집중적으로 관리하여 만족도를 향상시킬 필요가 있으며, 중요도가 낮은 항목들은 점진적으로 개선해 나가고, 만족도가 높은 항목들에 대해서는 지속적인 피드백 과정을 통해 학생들의 욕구를 파악하여 적절한 지원을 제공함으로써 전략적으로 대학 특성화를 추진할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate college students perceptions on the Creative Korea(CK-Ⅰ) project and analyze importance-satisfaction to identify areas that need to be concentrated on for university characterization. A total of 153 engineering students participated in this study. They were asked to complete a questionnaire consisting of 43 items, including two open-ended questions. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. As a result, college students were highly aware of the importance and satisfaction of CK-Ⅰ. They showed the highest satisfaction with the curriculum factors. Also, administrative services were perceived as the most important factors. In most of the items, there was a significant difference between importance and satisfaction. The level of satisfaction was lower than the level of importance. In terms of factors, top priorities to enhance the competitiveness of universities were identified as follows. First, efforts to improve the lecture, feedback on evaluation, student-centered instruction, and proactive career guidance in the teaching factors, Second, reflecting student demands on curriculum in the curriculum factors, Third, building experimental equipment and securing enough books in the educational facilities and environment factors, Finally, strengthening professional knowledge, improving job skills, and contributing to career exploration in the project performance factors.
