국문 초록

본 논문은 최승자의 시를 여성이 처한 현실적 조건을 사실적으로 폭로하는 재현의 텍스트라는 관점에서 읽어 보기를 시도한다. 이러한 시도는 여성시에 관한 기존의 논의를 두 가지 차원에서 극복하려는 목적을 지닌다. 첫째, 여성문학에 관한 기존 연구가 저자의 성별에 주목하여 (가부장제 하의 중산층 여성의 저항이라 는) 한정된 의미에서 텍스트의 정치성을 논하거나, 텍스트의 성별에 주목하여 여성성을 과잉담론화함으로써 여성문학의 정치성을 현실적 맥락으로 접속시키지 못한 점에 동시에 극복하려는 시도이다. 둘째, 기존의 논의들이 여성시로서의 최승 자의 시가 극복하려는 것을 ‘여성=모성’으로 한정해 이해하거나, ‘여성=모성’의 극복을 결국 시대적 불행을 드러내는 방법론의 일종으로 이해한 것을 극복하려는 시도이다. 최승자의 시는 중산층 가부장제 하의 여성의 불행이나, 1980년대라는 특정 시대의 불행, 혹은 타자성이라는 담론을 재현하는 텍스트로 읽히기 이전에, 글쓰기로 생계를 유지하는 독신 여성의 불안정한 삶이라는 관점에서 여성의 실존과 생존 그 자체를 재현하는 텍스트로 읽힐 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This paper attempts to read Choi Seungja’s poetry from the viewpoint of the text of reappearance which realistically exposes the real conditions of women. This attempt is aimed at overcoming the existing debate on women’s poetry in two dimensions. First, the existing literature on women’s literature focuses on the author’s gender, discussing the politics of text (in the limited sense of resistance of middle-class women under patriarchy), It is an attempt to overcome the fact that the politics of female literature is not connected to the realistic context by overcoming the discourse of femininity by paying attention to the sex of the text. Second, it is an attempt to overcome the understanding that Choi Seung-ja’s poetry as a poetry of the existing poetry is limited to woman = maternity or to overcome the woman = motherhood as a kind of methodology that eventually reveals misery. Instead Choi s poems are read as texts that recreate the discourse of unhappiness in women’s generalities, unhappiness in a certain age, or otherness, the existence and survival of women are reproduced from the perspective of the life of a single woman who maintains a livelihood through writing It needs to be read as text.
