영문 초록
The Purpose of this study was to investigate effects of 8weeks’ deep water exercise program on posture. The subjects of this study were 21 elderly women. All subjects participated in deep water(3m) exercise program 3 times a week for 60-90 minutes. The deep water exercise program consists of waking, jogging with four direction. Before and after 8 weeks’ deep water exercise program, 21 subjects were measured neck, hip, knee angles with sagittal plane and evaluated posture with New York State Posture Test.
The results of this study were as follows.
1. Head, shoulders and total score of New York State Posture Evaluation were different significantly (head : t=3.87, p<0.01, shoulders : t=2.16, p<0.05 : total : t=4.38, p<0.01).
2. The difference of back and hip line was different significantly(t=2.35, p<0.05)
3. Angle between trunk and hip joint was different significantly(t=2.63, p<0.05)
In conclusion, the following points were drawn.
Based upon the differences angles of neck and shoulders, back and hip line and trunk angle, deep water exercise is considered as the efficient exercise for women to make good posture.
