아동의 창의적 인성에 영향을 미치는 가정환경변인 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아동의 창의적 인성에 영향을 미치는 가정환경 변인들을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 TV 시청, 컴퓨터 이용, 독서시간 및 독서량을 가 정환경 변인으로 설정하고, 초등학교 5, 6학년 280명의 아동을 대상으로 창의적 인성검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 창의적 인 성에 있어서 성별 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. TV 시청과 컴퓨터 이용은 창 의적 인성의 하위요인인 도전성, 혁신성, 자존성, 탐구성, 개방성, 자율성과 부적 상관관계를, 독서시간은 도전성, 혁신성, 자존성, 탐구성, 개방성과 독서량은 혁 신성, 자존성, 탐구성과 정적인 상관관계를 보였다. 단 하루 평균 7권 이상의 독 서 아동은 그 이하의 독서 아동 보다 창의적 인성에 있어서 낮은 점수를 보였 다. 이를 통해 창의적 인성 함양을 위해서는 아동들이 TV와 컴퓨터의 이용을 최소화하고 적절하게 독서 할 수 있는 가정환경 조성이 요구됨을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examines home environmental factors that affect children s creative personality. The subjects of this study consisted of 280 5th, 6th graders in elementary school located in Daejeon, Gangwon. The creative personality was measured by Creative Personality Scale(CPS: Ha, 2000). In this study, TV viewing time per one day, computer use time per one day, number of readings and reading time per one day were selected as home environmental factors. The collected data were analyzed by using the 14.0 SPSS program. The data were also tested by using the Frequency analysis, Factor Analysis, T-test and One-way ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; There is not gender difference in creative personality. TV viewing time per one day is negatively related with the creative personality. Computer use time per one day is negatively related with the creative personality. Reading time per one day is positively related with sub-factors of creative personality, challenge, Innovation, self-esteem, inquiry, openness, autonomy. Number of readings is positively related with sub-factors of creative personality, Innovation, self-esteem, inquiry. Finally, limitation of this study and the direction for future research were discussed.
