국문 초록

본 연구에서는 Clark의 통합교육모형(Integrative Educational Model)을 적용한 과 학 영재교육 프로그램을 3단계 전형으로 선발된 일반계 고등학교 1학년 우수심화반 학생들에게 적용하여 문제해결력과 과학 학습동기, 자기조절 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 기간은 약 8개월로 생물 심화내용을 중심으로 18차시를 적 용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통합교육모형을 적용한 영재교육 프 로그램은 우수심화반 학생들의 창의적 문제해결력인 확산적 사고와 수렴적 사고 향 상에 효과적이었다. 둘째, 통합교육모형을 적용한 영재교육 프로그램은 우수심화반 학생들의 과학 학습동기 향상에 효과적이었다. 하위 요소의 측면에서는 내재적인 동 기와 개인적인 연관성, 자기효능감과 평가불안, 자기결단, 성적동기 범주에서 효과적 인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 통합교육모형을 적용한 영재교육 프로그램을 활용은 우수 심화반 학생들의 자기조절 능력에 대해서도 유의미한 효과를 나타내었다. 하위요소 별 분석에서는 동기, 행동 영역에서 유의미한 효과를 나타내었다.

영문 초록

This study intended to figure out the effects of applying the science gifted education program based on Clark s Integrative Educational Model(IEM) to the first-grade students of the superior class in an academic highschool, who were selected by the three-step screening, on their problem-solving abilities, scientific learning motivation, and self-regulation abilities. The study was conducted for about eight months with 18 times of classes focusing on advanced biology, and its consequence was as follows: first, the gifted education program based on integrative educational model was effective in improving divergent and convergent thinking, the creative problem-solving abilities of superior class students; second, it was effective in improving the scientific learning motivation of superior class students. In the aspect of sub-factors, the effects were shown in the categories of intrinsic motivation and personal relevance, self-efficacy and assessment anxiety, self-determination, and grade motivation; finally, it also showed significant effects in the self-regulation abilities of superior class students. In the analysis by sub-factors, the significant effects were shown in the area of motivation and behavior.
