국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 가치관의 개념과 범주를 명료화 하고, 청소년 초기에 해당되는 초등학교 5, 6학년과 중학교의 1, 2학년 학생 1317명을 대상으로 하여 인생관, 가정 생활관, 진로직업관, 학교생활관, 친구관, 국가관, 세계관 및 사회관으로 구성된 가 치관과 실제지능의 발달적 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 8 하위요소로 구성된 가치관, 각 가치관 하위요소 및 실제지능은 학년과 학교급의 진급에 따라 부정적 또는 소극 적으로 변화하는 경향을 확인했다. 더 나아가 인생관, 가족생활관, 직업진로관, 학교 생활관, 가치관 총점 및 실제적 지능은 학년과 성별에 따라 차이가 있는 것을 확인 했다. 이러한 현상은 지적 능력 향상에 중점을 두고 있는 학교교육과 가정교육의 방향과 목적 및 내용에 대한 변혁의 필연성을 시사하고 있다. 또한, 실제지능과 가 치관의 각 하위요소 간 비교적 낮지만, 유의미한 상관관계도 전반적인 교육(가정 및 학교, 사회교육)에 변혁이 있어야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This research has focused on investigating developmental characteristics of young adolescents general values. General values have been classified into eight concrete components, named life value, family life value, career and job value, school life value, friendship value, nation value, world value, and social life value. The results of this research were as follows: General values have been verified significant difference between grade level of 5th and 6th graders of primary schools and 1st and 2nd graders of middle schools. The higher the grade level, the less general values have been. This refers to the fact that middle school students general values were more negative than those of primary school pupils . The developmental characteristics of each concrete component of value have showed the same trend as the general values. It has been verified that there was low but statistically significant relationship between practical intelligence and each component of general values. The result of this research suggests that school education and home education should focus on both cognitive and affective domains of human characteristics.
