국문 초록

학업성취도 평가는 초 · 중등학교 학생의 학업 성취를 파악하는 것 외에 교육과정의 효과적인 적용 상황을 점검하고 교육 효과를 관리하며 교육과정의 질 개선과 제고를 통해 교과교육 및 교수 · 학습을 개선하는 데 활용된다. 학업성취도 평가를 하지 않는 미술과에서도 교육과정에 제시된 교육 목표 및 내용에 비추어 학생들의 목표 도달 정도와 교육과정의 문제점 및 정착 정도를 파악하고 이를 통해 미술과교육의 개선과 지원이 필요하므로, 국가 수준의 미술과 학업성취도 평가가 요구된다. 본 연구는 이러한 필요성에 터하여 미술과 평가 관련 선행 연구를 조사하였으며, 초 · 중등학교 교사 및 미 술교육 전문가를 대상으로 설문 및 면담조사와 전문가협의회를 실시하여 우리나라의 미술과 평가 실태 및 미술과 학업성취도 평가 목적과 방향에 적절한 평가 지표 및 평가틀을 구안하여 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국가연구기관에서 연차적으로 계획하고 있는 미술과 국가 수준 학업성취도 평가 연구를 위한 기초 자료가 되어 줄 것이다.

영문 초록

In an art subject, studies on the assessment have been led by the government and related education institutions. The assessment in an art subject required a lot of time and systematized and standardized assessment tools and methods to carry out. Most of art teachers in elementary and secondary school agreed to the importance of assessment itself but found it difficult to execute in an art subject. The purpose of the study was to provide a constructive frame for the Korean National Art Achievement Test which can improve and help the elementary and secondary education in Korea. For this purpose, 65 of elementary and secondary art teachers, officers of Education from regional cities and provinces, and professors were surveyed and interviewed, and several conferences were held. All the interviewees demanded that the Korean National Art Achievement Test plan would provide a framework which can help assessing the achievement of the elementary and secondary school students(especially the 6th and the 9th graders), and inspecting the level of students achievement based on performance standards in art experience, art expression and art appreciation area. As a result, the test framework for an art subject was developed. The test framework consisted of the selected ‘content area’ with respect to the 2007 Revised Korean National Art Curriculum, and the ‘behavior area’ based on the ultimate goal of an art subject. And the art content and achievement level descriptions were included in the framework. For its actual implementation, further researches should be followed based on this study.
