영문 초록

This study was conducted to get genetic information for rice breeding for resistant to bacterial blight. The segregation mode and allelic relationships of the gene for resistance of rice variety “Calrose” to race K,(HB8939 isolate) of bacterial blight were examined in the F₁ and F₂ generations from the seven crosses. The resistance of Calrose to bacterial blight race K₁ was controlled by a single dominant gene. This gene segregated independently with the Xa-3 and xa-5 genes, respectively, but was tightly linked with the Xa-1 gene on the chromosome 4.
