국문 초록

본 연구는 스마트기기 사용에 관련된 역기능 문제를 분석하고 개선 방안을 탐색 하고자 한다. 스마트기기 사용 역기능에 관한 2010년 이후 출판물 95개를 자료를 수 집하고 수집된 자료를 1)신체적 건강 문제, 2)안전 사고 문제, 3)정신 병리적 문제, 4) 사이버 일탈 및 폭력 문제, 5)학업적 문제으로 구분하여 스마트기기 사용 관련 제안 된 역기능의 타당성을 평가하고, 기존의 대응방안의 적합성을 검토하였다. 스마트기 기 사용 관련 역기능 주장으로 총 14개의 주장이 추출되었고, 7개는 타당하였고, 7개 는 일부 타당한 것으로 평가하였다. 역기능 문제에 관한 개선 방안으로 스마트기기 를 고차원적, 논리적 사고 계발을 위한 교수 전략이 필요하며, 학생들의 즐거움의 욕 구를 해소할 수 있는 대안활동이 필요함을 제안하였다. 또한 학생들에게 스마트기기 사용에 대한 자율적인 통제를 함양할 수 있도록 교육환경이 지원되어야 함을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

This study is to investigate the adverse effects of mobile device use and explore strategies for the improvement. We collected a total number of 95 materials on mobile device use published since 2010 The collected data were divided into five categories: 1)physical health issue, 2)safety issue, 3)psychopathology issue, 4)cyber deviation and violence issue and 5)academic issue. We evaluated the validity of the arguments on adverse effects of mobile device use and examined the appropriateness of suggested response strategies. We extracted 14 number of arguments on adverse effects of mobile use and half of them were valid and the other half were partly valid. We suggested some strategies for using mobile devices to develop students’ higher order and logical thinking and providing alternative activities for students to fulfill their desire for pleasure. Finally, we emphasized supports of educational environments in which students can develop self-regulated control of mobile device use.
