국문 초록

이 연구는 이주민에 관한 중학생의 매체접촉경험유형이 학습자 특성변인과의 상 호작용을 통해 다문화수용성 태도에 미치는 차별적 영향을 검증하고, 이를 근거로 효과적인 중학교 다문화 자료를 구성하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 목적을 두고 수행 되었다. 이를 위하여 두 개의 연구가설을 설정하였다. 첫째, 중학생의 매체접촉경험 이 다문화수용성 태도에 미치는 영향은 성별에 따라 차이가 있을 것이다(H1). 둘째, 중학생의 매체접촉경험이 다문화수용성 태도에 미치는 영향은 성적 집단에 따라 차 이가 있을 것이다(H2). 가설을 검증하고자 대구 지역 중학생을 연구대상으로 선정하 고 설문조사를 통해 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대구 지역의 중학생들은 메시지 내용(부정/긍정)과 메시지의 강도(강함/약함)에 따라 ‘경험1’(약한 부정; 8%), ‘경험2’(강한부정: 63%), ‘경험3’(강한긍정; 11%), ‘경험4’(약한긍정; 18%) 의 네 집단으로 유형화되었다. 둘째, 매체접촉경험유형이 다문화수용성태도에 미치 는 영향은 성별에 따라 차이가 있다는 성별과의 상호작용효과는 검증되었으며, 가설

영문 초록

The following three research questions were addressed: 1) Are there underlying types of media contact experience among middle school students? If so, what are the types? 2) Are the interaction effects between middle school students’ gender and media contact experience on multicultual acceptance? 3) Are the interaction effects between middle school students’ achievement level and media contact experience on multicultual acceptance? Specifically, the two hypotheses were following;

: The combination of middle school students’ gender and media contact experience has relative effect on multicultual acceptance at the 0.05 level of significance.

To gather the data, surveys were distributed at middle schools in Daegu Metropolitan City. Latent class analysis was performed to identify types of media contact experience among middle school students, and simple effects using MANOVA were analysed to investigate the interaction effects.
