영문 초록
This study was conducted to investigate the combining ability and heterosis of sesame. 6x6 parental diallel analysis were attempted in 1986.
Both GCA and SCA for all characteristics except palmitic acid content were significant. It was appeared that additive gene actions were more important for yield components, while non-additive gene actions were more important for palmitic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid contents.
‘Danbaekggae’ was the best conbiner on yield related characteristics such as plant height, number of capsules per plant and grain weight per plant. Expression of heterosis was significant on yield related characteristics such as plant height, number of branchs, number of capules per plant and 1,000 grains weight per plant. Above results evidently indicated the possible use of Fi hybrid in sesame breeding.
