초·중·고 학생의 학교만족도 변화

국문 초록

본 연구는 학교만족도를 ‘학교생활과 관련된 영역의 만족으로 인해 느끼는 긍정 적인 심리상태’로 규정하고, 현장교사들과 학생들을 통해 학교만족도 중요요인을 추 출하였다. 추출된 학교만족도 중요요인을 기반으로 하여 학교만족도 측정도구를 개 발 한 후, 초·중·고등학생들을 대상으로 학교만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통 해 현장교사들과 학생들이 생각하는 학교만족도 중요요인은 무엇인지, 초·중·고 학생들의 학교만족도는 어떻게 변화하는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 교 사와 학생들이 생각하는 학교만족도 중요요인은 크게 다섯 가지로 심리상태, 교수학 습, 교사행동, 생활지도, 학교시설 요인이었다. 초·중·고 학생들의 학교만족도는 학년이 올라갈수록 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 학교급별로 학교만족도 차이를 살펴 보면 초등학생의 만족도가 중·고등학생보다 의의 있게 높았다.

영문 초록

This study defined school satisfaction as follows: a positive mental state satisfied with some parts of school life, and it extracted several influential factors from school teachers and schoolers. After developing students’ school satisfaction scale on the basis of the factors, the satisfaction research was conducted using the scale. The aims of this study were both to inspect what factors teachers and schoolers regard as important, and to examine how school satisfaction changes through primary, middle and high school. The results of this study showed that the teachers and schoolers put stress on five factors: mental state, teaching & learning, teacher’s behavior, life guidance, and school facilities. School satisfaction decreased as the schoolers move to higher grades. In other words, the school satisfaction of primary schoolers was significantly higher than that of middle or high schoolers.
