국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 교육과정의 초등학교 1학년 교과서를 대상으로 진로 교육 요소를 추출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교육과학기술부(2012a)에서 제시한 ‘학교 진로교육 목표와 성취기준’에 의한 4개의 대영역과 18개의 세부목표를 준거로 통합 교과와 국어 교과의 총 16종의 교과서를 분석하였다. 교과별로 분석한 결과 총 99개 (통합 교과에 61개, 국어 교과에 38개)의 진로교육 내용 요소가 있었다. 진로 목표 영역별로는 ‘자아 이해와 사회적 역량 개발’에 관한 내용요소가 가장 많고, 그 다음 으로 ‘일과 직업 세계의 이해’, ‘진로 탐색’에 관한 요소가 그 뒤를 이었으나, ‘진로 디 자인과 준비’에 관한 내용은 거의 없었다. 본 연구의 결과는 교과교육을 통한 진로교 육이나 대집단 진로상담에 활용될 수 있다는 데 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the career education contents in the elementary school 1st grade textbooks based on the newly revised 2009 curriculum. The target of the analysis in this study was all 1st grade textbooks(16 textbooks excluding mathematics). And they were analyzed based on the ‘School Career Education Objectives and Achievement Standards’ published by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources(2012a). Major findings of the study were as follows: 1) 99 Career education contents(61 in the integrated subject, 38 in the Korean subject) were contained in the textbooks. 2) Career education contents were related most with ‘Self-understanding and Social Competence Development’ category. Next came ‘Understanding work and vocation world’, ‘Career Exploration’ category. Implications and limitations of current study are discussed.
