국문 초록

본 연구는 최근에 대학가에서 가장 큰 관심사가 되고 있는 취업에 관한 연구의 일환으로, 체육전공자들의 취업과정, 그 중에서도 여자 대학생 운동선수의 취업경로를 분석하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 여자 대학운동선수들이 자신의 취업과정을 취업경로와 관련하여 보다 생생한 이야기를 들을 수 있는 생애사적 연구방법의 면담법을 부분적으로 차용한 근거이론적 연구방법을 이용하였다. 이 과정을 통해 나타난 중심 현상은 ‘여자 운동선수로서 경험하는 구직의 어려움’으로 나타났고, 이 중심현상을 야기한 인과적 조건으로는 ‘구직을 시도함’있고, 맥락적 조건으로는 ‘일반직 진출을 위한 개인능력의 부족’, ‘실업팀과의 괴리’, ‘학교생활의 어려움’과 ‘네트워크의 부족’ 이 있었으며, 중재적 조건으로는 ‘스스로 중재함’, ‘가족이 중재함’, ‘선배가 중재함’, ‘학교 및 지도자의 중재’와 ‘사회적 현실’이 있었으며, 작용/상호작용 전략으로는 ‘개인적 선택’과 ‘네트워크의 활용’이 있었으며, 이 모든 과정을 거쳐 나타난 결과로는 ‘실업팀 진출’, ‘일반직에 취업’, 그리고 ‘운동을 그만둠’으로 나타났습니다.

영문 초록

This study aims at analyzing the female collegiate athletes employment path, which has been of great interest in college society recently. The grounded theory which participants, has been employed to investigate how female collegiate athletes in universities searched their position in the society. Central Phenomenon has been identified as difficulties in finding a job as an female collegiate athlete. The contextual situation which caused the central phenomenon included the lack of ability to seek general jobs, difficulty to find their position in business teams, difficulty of school life, and lack of network. The mediating conditions were mediation by themselves, mediation by social networks such as family, seniors, school, and their coaches, and confrontation of social reality. The intention interpersonal strategies which were utilized by them to solve the central phenomenon were personal choice and utilizing networks. We have found theat entering into business teams, discontinuation of sports, and finding a general job were the result of all these procedure.
