국문 초록

본 연구는 대학의 교육과정 개선에 대한 교수, 재학생, 교사 집단을 대상으로 대학 교육과정에 대한 만족도, 대학 교육과정 개선의 필요성 인식도, 대학 교육과정 개선의 방향 인식도 등에 대한 집단간 요구분석을 수행하였다. 교수집단은 교육과정 시행자로, 교사집단은 교육과정 실천가로, 재학생 집단은 교육과정 수혜자로 개념화하였다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 교육과정에 대한 만족도는 교수집단이 가장 낮았으며, 교사집단, 학생집단 순이었다. 둘째, 대학 교육과정 개선의 필요성이 강하게 요구되고 있으며, 현장 중심 교육의 비중을 높이고, 전공분야의 최신 문제와 이론을 반영한 중장기적 전략에 따른 교육과정으로 개편되어야 한다고 주장되고 있다. 셋째, 대학 교육과정 개선의 방향은 “현장중심 수업”, “졸업 후 갖추어야 할 능력 중심”, “학생의 특성, 선호도, 기초학습 능력 우선고려”, “통합된 교육경험 제공” 등으로 요약된다.

영문 초록

College curriculum must be followed educational goals set by each college, but the curriculum must also be changed according to the demands of the academic world, their students, and the society the colleges are to serve ultimately. Thus in this research, an analysis of demand from three different groups - that is, professors group as executers of college education, students group as its recipients, and active school teachers group as its practicers - was carried on in three different aspects: the degree of satisfaction toward college curriculum, the necessity and the direction of improvements of it. Purpose of this research is to estimate the current college curriculum and then propose a new direction for reconstructing it in college of education. Outcomes of this research are as follow: First, the degrees of satisfaction toward college curriculum were generally low. Among them the professor group showed the lowest in average, and the student group showed the highest. Second, there was a strong demand for improving current college curriculum. In today\ s knowledge-based society, universities are ought to give their students more opportunities in the active field, and their curriculum should answer the changes of times and environment and reflect the latest issues and theories in every discipline. Third, for the improvement of college curriculum, matters such as \ the change of times and society,\ \ characteristic and traits of individual students,\ and \ emphasis on academic system\ were mentioned as the priorities to be considered. And as for improving the curriculum, \ field oriented courses\ , \ emphasis on developing skills required after graduation\ , \ priorities in characteristics and interests of students with fundamental studies\ and \ experiencing integrated education\ were pointed out.
