디자인 전공분야 비실기전형 학생선발을 위한 입학사정관의 심층면접 문항 개발 및 평가기준 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 실기를 위주로 학생선발을 해온 디자인분야의 대학들에서 비실기전형으로 학생들을 선발할 경우, 입학사정관들이 심층면접과정에서 어떤 질문을 해야 하고, 어떤 기준으로 선발해야 잠재적 디자인 능력을 가진 학생들을 선발 할 수 있는지를 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 디자인능력이 무엇인지에 대한 분석과 아울러 전국의 4년제 디자인 전공의 대학생 1204명을 대상으로 한 디자인 진로적성검사의 결과를 분석하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과로 검사의 하위요인을 도출하여 비교하고, 문항반응 이론에 의하여 문항변별도를 산출하여 최종적으로 23문항을 디자인능력을 파악하는데 적합한 심층면접 문항의 내용으로 선정하였다. 선별된 문항들은 문항변별도가 적절하고 난이도면에서 범주별 위치모수의 간격도 균등하며, 검사정보함수도 신뢰로운 문항으로 나타났다. 따라서 선별된 문항들의 변별도를 고려하고 문항평균을 참고하여 평가할 것을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to develop items with a power of item discrimination for the admission officers who are in the process of in-depth interview to select students with latent design ability who want to be in design major without any practical test in college admission screening. The study investigated what kinds of ability was required to be a designer according to the previous studies, secondary school curriculum on art and design and college screening practical tests. Career Aptitude Test for Designer was administrated to 1204 design-major university students. Exploratory factor analysis showed the underlying factors consisting of design ability. Based on the calculated power of items discrimination on item response theory, 23 items were selected with an appropriate power of item discrimination, item difficulty and reliability. The results indicated that the admission officers should consider the power of item discrimination with the mean of each item.
