MURDER 협동학습전략이 기억력과 독해능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 MURDER 전략에서 역할교대집단과 역할고정집단학습 활동이 학습용 독해과제에 대한 기억과 독해 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. MURDER 전략은 Dansereau에 제안되었으며, 협동학습을 진행함에 있어 분명한 대본이 있어 그 대본대로 진행하며, 구성원들의 역할이 구체적으로 명시되어 있고, 그 역할을 수행하는 학습형태가 구조화된 학습전략이다. 그 결과는 학습용 독해과제의 기억력 점수와 독해력 점수 모두 역할교대집단학습활동과 역할고정집단학습활동 모두 통제집단인 개별학습활동 집단보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이는 구조화 협동학습전략인 MURDER 전략이 학습자의 기억력과 독해능력 향상에 효과적임을 시사해주고 있다.

영문 초록

This research was performed to verify the effect of MURDER cooperative learning strategy on memory and reading comprehension ability of reading subject according to learners\ role exchange and role fixing. For this research, 6th grade elementary of one hundred and sixteen were assigned into two experimental groups(role exchanging group and role fixing group) and one control(individual learning) group. Pupils of two experimental groups were training to improve memory and reading comprehension ability three times a week for 40 minutes at a time, totally 10 times. The results were as follows: Firstly, the memory test score showed meaningful difference among three groups and role exchange and role fixing groups\ score was significantly higher than that of individual learning group. Secondly, the reading comprehension test score showed meaningful difference among three groups and role exchange and role fixing groups\ score was significantly higher than that of individual learning group. A delayed test was needed to apply MURDER cooperative learning strategy for primary children\ s ability of memory and reading comprehension.
