초기 청소년의 학대경험, 정서문제, 휴대전화의존도의 구조적 관계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초기 청소년의 학대경험과 정서문제, 그리고 휴대전화의존도간의 구조적 관계를 파악하는 것이며, 정서문제 유형으로는 주의집중, 공격성, 신체화 증상, 사회적 위축, 우울을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 한국청 소년정책연구원에서 실시한 『한국아동·청소년패널조사 2010』의 자료 중 3차년도 데이터를 사용하였으며, 연구대상은 2012년 기준 초등학교 6학년 남녀 2,370명이었다. 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석을 통해 자료의 분석이 이루어졌고, Amos18.0을 이용하여 연구 모형의 적합도와 변인 간 효과를 검증하였다. 도출된 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 우울, 사회적 위축, 공격성, 주의집중은 휴대전화의존도에 직접효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 학대의 경우, 직접효과는 유의하지 않았지만 우울과 공격성을 거쳐 유의한 간접효과가 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 우울은 직접효과 외에 사회적 위축이나, 신체화 증상, 공격성의 경로를 통해 휴대전화의존도에 유의한 간접효과를 보였다. 공격성 역시 주의집중을 거쳐 휴대전화의존도에 간접적인 영향력을 갖고 있었고, 신체화 증상은 다시 공격성을 거쳐 휴대전화 의존도에 간접효과를 보였다. 본 연구는 학대경험과 휴대전화의존도 간 영향경로를 확인하고 문제의 원인 규명 및 개입 방안을 논의했다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship among early adolescent s experience of abuse, emotional/behavioral problems included attention, aggression, somatization, social withdrawal, and depression, and mobile phone dependency. The final subjects consisted of 2,370 elementary students(6th graders), whose data was taken from the 3rd year(2012) Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (2010 KCYPS). Descriptive statistics, Pearson s correlation and structural equation modeling(SEM) techniques were used as the way of analyzing the data. The major results of this study were as follows. First, attention, aggression, social withdrawal and depression had significant direct effects on mobile phone dependency. Direct effects of abuse was not significant on mobile phone dependency, whereas abuse had significant indirect effects on mobile phone dependency through emotional/behavioral problems such as depression, aggression. Second, depression had significant indirect effects on mobile phone dependency through social withdrawal, or somatization and aggression. Also, aggression and somatization had significant indirect effects on mobile phone dependency through attention and aggression, respectively. Finally, interventions about mobile phone dependency and the negative effects of child abuse were discussed.
