국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 저학년 통합교과에서 창의ž인성을 기르기 위한 실천 방법으로서의 프로젝트 학습에 대해 논의하고 있다. 지난 2009년 발표된 ‘창의ž인성교육 기본 방안’과 문용린 외(2010)의 연구를 중심으로 창의ž인성교육의 의미를 알아보고, 이를 위한 실천적 방법으로서의 주제 중심 프로젝트 학습에 대해 살펴보았다. 창의ž인성의 함양을 위한 주제 중심 프로젝트 학습은 특히 실생활을 토대로 한 구체적 경험과 문제해결을 강조한다는 점에서 초등학교 저학년 통합교과와 공통점을 갖게 되는데, 본논문에서는 통합교과에서 창의ž인성교육을 위한 주제 중심 프로젝트 학습을 적용하는 구체적 방안을 모색하고 있다.

영문 초록

The present study discusses thematic project-based learning as an effective practice to enhance creativity-personality in integrated subject matters of primary school. The concept of creativity-personality is surveyed by reviewing the document of An Essential Plan for Creativity-personality Education published by the Ministry of Education in year 2009, the research paper by Moon et al.(2010), and others. Then, thematic project-based learning is examined as a way of improving the quality of creativity-personality. It is further discussed that thematic project-based learning is very suitable to be applied in integrated subject matters of primary school in that both of the two emphasize experiences problem-solving situated in real life settings. Finally, guidelines to apply thematic project-based learning as a way to improve creativity-personality in integrated subject matters.
