국문 초록

독서교육은 모든 교과의 학습을 위한 교육으로 모든 교과목에서 독서교육이 이루 어져야 한다. 독서교육은 모든 교과 학습을 지원하여 범교과적 창의적 학습능력을 제고시키는 방향으로 진행되어야 한다. 독서능력과 타 교과학습과의 상관도가 매우 높은 점, 교과학습 활동의 주요 방법 중의 하나가 독서 활동이라는 점으로 보아, 교과학 습에서 독서활동이 매우 중요하다. 독서교육의 주요 범주는 세 가지 측면에서 고려해 볼 수 있다. 독서활동측면에 서독서학습과 학습독서로, 전략 활용 측면에서 독서전략과 학습독서전략의 사용으로, 교과연계 방식 면에서 내용적 측면의 연계(교과연계 독서지도)와 방법적 측면의 연계 (교과독서 방법지도)로 나누어볼 수 있다. 이들 세 가지 측면은 모두 상호관련성을 띤다. 국어교과의 주요 교육 대상인 독서는 교과학습에 큰 영향을 미친다는 점에서 학제 적인 전략이라고 할 수 있는데, 바로 이 점에서 교과학습과 관련한 범교과적인 독서 활동을 탐색해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Reading education is the basic education for all the subject matter areas, so it should be executed simultaneously in subject matter education area. There is close correlation between the ability to read and the ability in subject matter area and the reading activity is one of the main methods of learning subject matter area, so it is very important in subject matter area. We can classify the reading education by three criteria. By the criteria of reading activity, we can classify the reading education as learning to lead and reading to learn, by the criteria of usage of strategy, as reading strategies and reading strategies for learning, by the method of relation with subject matter, as subject matter related reading instruction and subject matter reading strategies instruction. these three criteria have mutual relations. Reading is interdisciplinary strategies because it has great influence in subject matter area. so we have to study reading activity across subject matter area.
