학습희망 증진 프로그램이 초등학생의 학습희망과 학습동기에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학습희망 증진 프로그램이 초등학생의 학습희망과 학습동기에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 동질성이 확보된 두 학급을 실험집단 과 통제집단으로 선정한 다음, 실험집단에 2015년 3월 16일부터 2015년 4월 22일까 지 6주에 걸쳐 총 11회기의 학습희망 증진 프로그램을 적용하였다. 실험을 마친 후에 실험집단과 통제집단을 대상으로 사후검사를 실시하고, 다변량 분산 분석 (MANOVA)으로 실험효과를 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단의 학습희망은 통제집단의 학습희망에 비해 유의미하게 높았다. 둘째, 실험집단의 학습동기는 통제집단의 학습동기에 비해 유의미하게 높았다. 이러한 연구결과는 본 연구의 학습희망 증진 프로그램이 아동의 학습희망 및 학습동기 향상에 효과적임을 의미한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to investigate effects of learning hope enhancing program on children s learning hope and motivation. To achieve this purpose, one of 2 homogeneous classes from 6 grade in D Elementary School was assigned to experimental group and the other to control group. Prior to the experimental treatment, pre-test measuring learning hope and motivation was administered. Then the experimental group participated in 11 sessions of learning hope enhancing program for six weeks, while the control group did not. To verify the effects of learning hope enhancing program, post-test was administered after treatment. The results were analyzed by MANOVA at SPSS 21.0. The results of the study were as follows. First, the experimental group showed significantly higher level of learning hope and its sub-factors(agency and pathway thinking) compared to control group. Second, the experimental group showed significantly higher level of learning motivation compared to control group. Specifically, achievement motivation, control locus, self efficacy, and self-regulated learning strategies as sub-factors of learning motivation were significantly high. This results imply that learning hope enhancing program is effective for improving children s learning hope and motivation.
