The purpose of this paper is to study the similarity of shamanic civilization through Native Americans‘ world view. The Asians during the Pre-Historic period and the Native Americans had the same religious rituals called Shamanism. Basically, Shaman tries to contact with the supernatural existence through being possessed of a spirit for solving the various issues of life, praying for abundance and blessing in real world. For the Native American tribes who believe in Shamanism, an earth is spiritual space which includes their identity, narrative, and memory. Therefore, Native Americans try not to find their identity from an individual self, but to find their identity from the communal self based on social relationships. Native Americans keep their guard against certain individual’s autocratic domination under the state system and emphasize the relationship from the common mode of living. In conclusion, Native Americans understand an earth and objects in nature, not as the concept of ownership, but as the concept of sharing. After all, Native Americans’ way of thinking can be summarized as an equalitarian perspective, ecological perspective, and organic perspective.
