국문 초록

본 연구는 치매환자 보호자의 일상생활 부담 및 경제적 부담이 보호자 자녀와의 관계 갈등에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 치매환자와의 TSL 의사소통의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 서울 4개, 경기 3개, 부산 3개 기관을 대상으로 치매환자 가족보호자를 모집하여 이들을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문을 실시하였다. 조사는 2015년 8월부터 2개월간 진행되었으며, 총 428명의 응답을 획득하였다. 이 중 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 자녀가 있는 보호자 302명을 최종분석 대상으로 설정하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 일상생활 부담 및 경제적 부담은 보호자 자녀와의 관계갈등에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 특히, 경제적 부담과 보호자 자녀와의 관계갈등의 영향 관계에서 치매환자와의 TSL 조절효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 부양부담으로 인해 자녀와의 관계갈등을 경험하고 있는 치매환자 가족들을 위한 실천적, 정책적 개입방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is 1) to examine the effect of daily life burden and financial burden on parent-child conflict of dementia caregivers and 2) to verify the moderating effect of TSL communication between caregiver and dementia patient. We selected dementia caregivers from institutions (4 in Seoul, 3 in Gyeonggi, 3 in Busan) and conducted self-reporting questionnaires on the participants. The study was conducted for two months starting in August 2015, and we were able to collect a total of 428 responses. Since the purpose of our research was to examine parent-child conflict, we selected 302 responses that matched the purpose of our research. Results suggest that daily life burden and financial burden has an effect on parent-child conflict of dementia caregivers, and the moderating effect of TSL communication on parent-child conflict was verified. Based on the results of this study, we discuss practical and policy-based interventions for dementia caregivers experiencing parent-child conflict due to caregiver burden.
