청소년의 스마트폰 중독이 오프라인 비행에 미치는 영향: 온라인 비행의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 스마트폰 중독과 오프라인 비행과의 관계를 검증하고 두 변수의 관계에 있어서 온라인 비행의 매개효과를 검증하는데 연구목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수도권 서⋅남부 지역을 중심으로 중⋅고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년 820명을 조사하여 최종 802명을 분석하였다. 연구결과 스마트폰 중독 정도가 높은 청소년일수록 온라인 비행이 증가했고, 오프라인 비행도 증가하였다. 그리고 온라인 비행이 높은 청소년일수록 오프라인 비행이 높게 증가하였다. 그러나 스마트폰 중독과 오프라인 비행과의 직접적인 관계는 검증되지 않았다. 따라서 청소년의 스마트폰 중독과 오프라인 비행과의 관계에서 온라인 비행은 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 청소년의 스마트폰 중독에 대한 사회복지적 접근을 강화할 뿐만 아니라 자오프라인 비행과 온라인 비행에 대한 접근도 함께 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the influences of smart-phone addiction and on-line delinquency to off-line delinquency, and the influences of smart-phone addiction to on-line delinquency in adolescence. Data for this study were collected through the use of a survey instrument completed by 802 adolescents from first grade in middle school to second grade in high school in west and south region of metropolitan area. From the analysis result using structural equation modeling, smart-phone addiction was not found to affect directly off-line delinquency, but smart-phone addiction has significant effect on on-line delinquency and on-line delinquency also has significant effect on off-line delinquency. On the relation of smart-phone addiction and off-line delinquency, on-line delinquency was found as the complete mediating effect. Based on these findings, the research discussion extended to the implication of an intervention that prevents adolescent s smart-phone addiction, off-line delinquency and on-line delinquency to promote healthy development of the adolescents.
