느린 학습자의 읽기를 위한 다각적인 중재의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 느린 학습자의 읽기 능력을 향상시키기 위하여 읽기 학습적, 정서적, 사회적 측면에서의 다각적인 중재를 실시하고 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 J시에 소재하고 있는 J와 C초등학교 2학년을 대상으로 10명의 느린 학습자를 선별하였다. 이들에게 읽기 학습적 중재로 읽기 기초학습 프로그램, 정서적 중재로 학습 동기 프로그램, 사회적 중재로 자아 존중감 프로그램을 적용하였다. 각 중재의 효과와 그들 사이의 관계는 사전 - 사후 t검정과 상관분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 읽기 학습적 중재가 느린 학습자의 음운 인식과 단어 재인을 크게 향상시켰다. 둘째, 정서적 중재가 느린 학습자의 학습 동기를 향상 시켰다. 셋째, 사회적 중재가 느린 학습자의 자아 존중감을 향상시켰다. 넷째, 느린 학습자의 음운 인식, 단어 재인, 학습 동기, 자아 존중감은 각 중재를 적용하기 전보다 적용 후에 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 근거하여 그에 따른 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of multiple intervention in reading learning, emotional and social aspects in order to improve reading ability of slow learners. For this purpose, 10 slow learners were selected for J and C elementary school students in J city. We applied reading basic learning program as learning intervention, learning motivation program as emotional intervention, and self - esteem as social intervention program. The effects of each intervention and the relationship between them were examined through pre - post t test and correlation analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, reading learning interventions significantly improved the phonological awareness and word recognition of slow learners. Second, emotional intervention improved learning motivation of slow learners. Third, social intervention improved the self - esteem of the slow learners. Fourth, slow learner s phonological awareness, word recognition, learning motivation, and self - esteem showed a significant correlation after application of each intervention. Therefore, based on the results of this study, implications are suggested.
