대학 인성교육 비교과 프로그램 운영 현황 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학 인성교육 비교과 프로그램의 운영 현황을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국내에서 3년 이상 해당 프로그램을 운영 중인 5개 주요 대학을 선정하였다. 연구를 위해 관련 선행연구를 살펴보았고 조사 대상에서 공개한 학회, 포럼, 홈페이지 자료 등을 통해 정보를 다각적으로 수집, 분석하였다. 자료 수집은 2017년 6월 1일∼6월 30일까지 온·오프라인을 대상으로 하였고 2017년 7월 1일∼8월 31일까지 결과 분석 및 타당도 검증이 이루어졌다. 연구 결과, 대학별 인성교육 비교과 프로그램의 운영현황은 콘텐츠 중심 인성교육(성균관대, 서울여대), 실행 중심 인성교육(서강대), 종교 기반 인성교육(대구가톨릭대), 공동체 생활 중심 인성교육(한동대) 유형으로 분류 되었다. 이와 함께, 대학 인성교육 비교과 프로그램의 특징을 학교별로 제시하여 교육 목표, 내용, 방법을 확인하고 이를 토대로 교육적 함의를 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 논의 및 결론, 향후 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 대학 인성교육의 실효성과 효율성을 제고할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this study, the current status of non-curriculum program of character education in university was analyzed. We selected five major universities operating in Korea for more than three years. And then we examined the related research and collected and analyzed various information through the association, forum, and homepage data. Data collection was conducted from June 1 to June 30, 2017, and the results were analyzed and validated from July 1 to August 31, 2017. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The content-based character education(Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul Women s University), 2) The performance-based character education(Sogang University), 3) The religion-based character education(Catholic University of Daegu), 4) The community life-based character education(Handong University). In addition, we presented characteristics of non-curriculum program of character education by universities. Through this study, it will be possible to identify the major trends of non-curriculum program of character education in university and the educational objectives, contents, and operation methods of each program and to derive educational implications. Based on the results of the study, the discussion, conclusion, and suggestions for future research were presented. It is expected that this will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of character education for college students.
