Steel is the metal mankind uses most in the business of industry and society. As its heavy weight,
However, it couldn t be used in the field asks light weight. For the section asked light weight, man uses Stainless, Ti, Al, etc.. Among them, aluminum is used most. aluminum is discovered in 1827 and the second much element after Si. on the earth. Alloyed steel with aluminum has high heat conductivity and expansion factor, therefore so different hydrogen solution between liquid and solid that it s easy to happen defects like tiny pores, deformity or shrinkage on the joint by welding. So Zig
welding and its device need to be done, considering these welding conditions, speed and material. MIG welding that this study is supposed to use occurs defects like pores, cracks, incomplete welding joint, under-cut and so on about aluminum alloy. It sometimes occurs mingled inclusion and cold lap, too.
About pores that happens most, it takes place by roles of hydrogen and unfit protective gas. If the flow of protective gas is low, it can t block outer impure component, then these mixed impurities react with original metal and make pores. In order to get excellent welding of aluminum alloy, we have to consider surrounding, electric current and voltage of welding device, welding speed, purity of protective gas and so forth. This study has the purpose on minimize defects of aluminum alloy welding through comparison and investigation of the figures by changing electric current, voltage, speed and gas flow, etc.
