인문학 중심의 교사교육에 대한 유아교사들의 이야기

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학원 과정에서 다양한 철학 담론을 토대로 질문, 비판, 사유하기 등의 인문학적 접근을 기초로 한 유아교사교육 수업에 참여한 7명의 연구 참여자를 대상으로 실시하였다. 유아교사들이 인문학적 주제와의 만남을 갖는 과정에서 일어나는 이야기를 탐구함으로써 교사의 성장과 교사교육에 대한 새로운 시선을 얻을 수 있었다. 연구 결과 교사들은 인문학적 컨텐츠와 방법론이 결합된 교사교육의 과정에서 점차 자신의 삶과 교육현장을 사유하는 내면적 힘을 기르며, 현대철학 담론의 전회가 담긴 인문적 교사교육의 대한 필요성을 공감하였다. 이는 기존에 유아교사의 성장과 발달을 실증적이고 선형적으로 바라보았던 전통적 시각에서 벗어나, 유아교사에 대한 이해와 유아교사교육을 다차원적이고 재개념적 시선에서 접근할 수 있음을 제안하며, 인문학적 교사교육이 교사를 보다 깊은 사유로 안내하는 근원적 동력이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study explored stories of early childhood teachers about their class of Teacher Education which puts a great emphasis on humanities related topics. The survey of 7 teachers was carried out by in-depht interviews and hybrid brainstorming. The results of this study suggest that the understanding about early childhood teacher and the early childhood teacher education can be approached in a multi-dimensional and re-conceptual attention with escaping from a traditional sight that had looked at the existing early childhood teacher s growth and development empirically and linearly, and imply that the humanistic teacher education may become original power that guides a teacher to a deeper thinking.
