국문 초록

본 연구는 초·중등 교사들의 학교급과 교직경력에 따라 교사 연수 프로그램에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 교사 연수 프로그램에 대한 교사들의 인식 조사 도구는 프로그램에 대한 적절성, 지원 및 홍보, 강의 방법 및 평가 방법에 대한 선호 양식, 연수 강사, 교재 유형, 연수 시기 및 형태 등에 관한 설문으로 구성하여 학교급과 교직경력에 따라 기술 통계 및 t-검정, 이원 변량 분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구는 수도권, 충청권, 경상권에 근무하고 있는 349명(초등 교사 175명, 중등 교사 174명)의 교사들을 대상으로 진행하였다 . 조사 결과 교사 연수 프로그램의 적절성, 지원 및 홍보, 강의 방법 및 평가 방법 등에 대한 인식 수준은 학교급과 교직경력에 관계없이 중등 교사들이 초등 교사들에 비해 더 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 그러나 전반적으로 교사들은 자신들의 교육 전문성 신장을 위한 현장적합성이 높은 연수 프로그램을 원하고 있었다. 이는 초·중등 교사들이 교육 전문가로써 자질을 함양할 수 있도록 현행 교사 연수 프로그램의 개선이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다. 또한 초·중등 교사들의 연수 프로그램에 대한 요구를 충분히 반영하여 교사 연수 프로그램의 개발과 운영이 이루어져 야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of elementary and secondary school teachers about in-service teacher training programs according to school-level and teaching career. The questionnaire consisted of appropriateness, support and promotion of the training program, preference type for teaching methods, training instructor, type of teaching materials, timing and type of training. Data were collected from 349 teachers (elementary : 175, secondary 174), who responded on the questions. According to school-level and teaching career were performed technical statistics and t-test, two-way ANOVA. Secondary school teachers perceptions about appropriateness, support and promotion of the training program, preference type for teaching methods were lower than elementary school teachers, regardless of school-level and teaching career. However, they wanted effective in-service teacher training programs, which contribute to the development of their educational professionalism. The results suggested that the current in-service teacher training programs for elementary and secondary school teacher should be improved so that they can develop their qualifications as educational experts at the school. In addition, it is necessary to consider the demands of elementary and secondary school teachers for developing and managing in-service teacher training programs.
