국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 청소년기에 중요한 발달 과업인 자아정체감과 대학만족도 및 직장만족도의 종단적 구조 관계를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 4차(2007년), 5차(2008년), 11차(2014년) 자료를 이용하여 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 청소년 자아정체감은 대학만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 청소년 자아정체감의 직장만족도에 대한 직접적인 영향은 통계학적으로 유의하지 않았으며 청소년 자아정체감은 대학만족도를 매개로 직장만족도에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 청소년기의 올바른 자아정체감 형성이 대학생활과 직장생활에 직간접적으로 주요한 영향을 줄 수 있다는 점을 함의한다. 연구결과를 토대로 청소년 자아정체감이 대학에 서의 만족도와 직장에서의 만족도에 기여하는 실제적인 시사점을 제시하고 추후 연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the longitudinal relationship between adolescents’ ego-identity, which is important developmental task in adolescence, college satisfaction and job satisfaction. For this purpose, structural equation modeling was conducted using the 4th (2007), 5th (2008), and 11th (2014) data from KEEP(Korean Education and Employment Panel). The results showed that the adolescents ego-identity had a direct effect on the college satisfaction, but the direct effect of the adolescent’s ego-identity on the job satisfaction was not statistically significant and the adolescent’s ego-identity had an indirect effect on the job satisfaction through the college satisfaction. In other words, the college satisfaction had a mediating effect between the adolescent’s ego-identity and the job satisfaction. This implies that the right ego-identity formation in adolescence can have a direct or indirect impact on college life and work life. Based on the results of the study, this study provides the practical implications through the longitudinal data that the adolescent’s ego-identity contributes to the college satisfaction and the job satisfaction.
