국문 초록

본 연구는 외국인 학부생이 작성한 정보 전달 프레젠테이션 자료에 나타난 언어 사용 오류 양상을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2016학년도 1학기, 2학기에 걸쳐 총 24편의 정보 전달 프레젠테이션 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 구성 차원, 내용 제시 차원, 언어 표현 차원, 가독성 편집 차원의 네 가지 차원에서 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 구성 차원에서 프레젠테이션 작성 시 목차의 제시, 소제목 제시, 출처 등에 대한 인식이 부족함을 알 수 있었고, 내용 차원에서는 핵심 내용의 요약적 제시에 실패하는 유형을 세분화하여 살펴볼 수 있었다. 언어 표현 차원에서는 비격식적 표현, 번역 표현, 학문적 담화 공동체에서 사용하지 않는 표현들이 사용되고 있음을 확인하였다. 가독성 편집 차원에서는 청중들이 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 편집 요소를 결정하고 편집해야 함을 살펴볼 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the patterns of language use shown in information delivery presentations materials written by foreign undergraduates. To accomplish this, a total of 24 information delivery presentations were collected over the first and second semesters of the 2016 academic year. The data analysis was based on four dimensions: composition, content presentation, language expression, and readability editing. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a lack of awareness of introduction, main text, conclusion, reference, and title presentation when composing a presentation at the composition level while the contents was reviewed by classifying the type of failure to suggest summary. In the language expression level, informal expressions, translation expressions, expressions that are not used in the academic discourse community are used. In the editing the readability level, we can see that it should be constructed to help the audience understand the contents considering the them.
