국문 초록

본 연구는 빈곤층의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 사회적 배제수준으로 구성한 후에 인지된 사회통합감의 매개효과에 초점을 두고 그 관계구조를 구조방정식 모델로 검증해보았다. 분석자료는 전국의 종합사회복지관을 이용한 국민기초생활수급대상자 389명을 분석대상으로 삼았다. 분석결과 사회적 배제수준이 사회통합감에 부적인 방향에서 매우 중요한 영향력을 가지고 있음을 파악할 수 있었고, 인지된 사회통합감은 삶의 만족도에 정의 영향관계를 가지고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 사회복지정책을 집행하거나 사회복지프로그램을 실행하는 기관에서 빈곤층의 삶의 만족도를 높이는데 있어서 무엇보다도 사회적 배제 수준을 낮추는 데에 많은 노력을 해야 한다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the social exclusion level against underprivileged people on life satisfaction with a special concern about the mediating effect of perceived social inclusion. For analysis, 389 respondents of underprivileged people who are clients in social welfare organizations were participated. Structural Equation Modeling was employed for analysis and Full Information Maximum Likelihood Modeling was employed for estimation. Main results are as followings: the first, the social exclusion level is negatively related to perceived social inclusion. The second, perceived social inclusion is positively related to life satisfaction. These findings imply that social welfare organizations that manage social welfare policies and practice social welfare programs must make a lot of efforts for reducing the social exclusion level in order to improve the life satisfaction of underprivileged people.
