예비교사가 인식한 플립드 러닝 교수학습 효과 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 최근에 많은 관심을 받고 있는 플립드 러닝의 교수학습 효과를 밝힘으로써 플립드 러닝을 활용하여 보다 효율적인 학생 참여형 수업을 설계하기 위한 이론적 틀을 제공하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 플립드 러닝 경험이 있는 예비교사를 연구 대상으로 선정하여 2017년 7월부터 8월 사이에 반구조화된 면접을 수행하였으며 면담 결과를 분석하여 플립드 러닝의 교수학습 효과를 고찰하였다. 연구 결과 플립드 러닝의 교수학습 효과는 학습의 효율성 측면에서 개별화 학습, 협동 학습, 자기 주도적 학습, 교수의 효율성 측면에서는 유의미 학습과 비계설정이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 플립드 러닝은 학생의 의사소통 역량을 배양하는 데 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 플립드 러닝을 활용하는 수업에 어려움을 느끼고 있는 교사가 많은 바, 본 연구에서 밝혀진 교수학습 효과를 바탕으로 플립드 러닝 수업 구성 요소를 부분적으로 활용하는 것도 의미를 가질 수 있으며, 교사와 학생이 수업 방법에 익숙해짐에 따라 점차 완성된 형태의 플립드 러닝을 수행할 것을 제안하였다. 교수학습 효과에 대한 함의와 더불어 플립드 러닝을 보다 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 교사의 역할에 대해서도 고찰하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical frame work for designing more effective student participating class by clarifying the teaching and learning effect of flipped learning. Semi-structured interviews were conducted between July and August 2017 with pre-service teachers with experience in flipped learning, and the effect of flipped learning has been analyzed based on the results of the interviews. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of the teaching and learning of the flipped learning was categorized into the differentiated learning, cooperative learning, self directed learning, meaningful learning, and scaffolding for students. It also showed that flipped learning could help students to develop their communication skills. As many teachers have difficulty in using flipped learning, it is meaningful to utilize the components of the flipped learning partially based on the effects revealed in this study. As teachers and students become more familiar with the process of the flipped learning, it is recommended to perform in a completed form. The implications of the teaching and learning effect by flipped learning and the role of teachers to operate it effectively were also explored.
