영문 초록

The analysis of hairstyles and expression of their technical aspects has evolved into technology and creativity, creating new designs according to personality and trends. For this, expertise to manage design analysis skills as well as design competence is needed. Therefore, it appears that this study would make a contribution to the integration of diverse up-styles, suggestions of trends and an applied analysis of hairstyles. In the beauty industry, furthermore, the study results would be available as learning materials in analyzing up-styles based on morphological analysis along with the improvement of practical values. It is expected to derive objective and scientific up-styles. For this, first, master cosmetologists’ conventional up-styles from 2010 to 2015 were investigated through morphological analysis. Based on the results obtained from the analysis, then, hairstyles with artistic and practical values were created. In terms of frequency analysis by the position of master cosmetologists’ conventional up-styles through morphological analysis, the ‘hair roll’ was most frequent at 24 times, followed by the ‘wave’ (15 times) and ‘braids’ (5 times). In terms of direction, ‘diagonal’ and ‘vertical’ were created 23 times and 14 times each. In addition, ‘harmony’ and ‘balance’ were applied 15 times and 10 times, respectively. According to the results of the morphological analysis on master cosmetologists’ conventional up-styles based, hairstyles were suggested, and frequency by the expert group was analyzed via questionnaire survey. After analyzing master cosmetologists’ conventional up-styles based on morphological analysis, objective data and diverse up-styles were applied and an up-style trend was suggested. In addition, a scientific approach needed to improve their usefulness in practice, to give help to those who are preparing for the master cosmetologist exam, and to develop new up-styles was suggested.
