고등학생의 외모만족도가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성, 자아탄력성의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생들을 대상으로 고등학생의 외모만족도가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성과 자아탄력성의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시 소재 국립 D 고등학교, 사립 H 고등학교의 인문계 고등학생 334명을 대상으로 외모만족도 척도, 심리적 안녕감 척도, 거부민감성 척도, 자아탄력성 척도에 대한 설문을 2017년 2월 1일부터 4주간 실시하였다. 외모만족도, 심리적 안녕감, 거부민감성, 자아탄력성의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 거부민감성과 자아탄력성의 매개효과 검증을 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제안한 매개효과 분석단계에 따라 순차적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외모만족도, 심리적 안녕감, 거부민감성, 자아탄력성 간에는 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 외모만족도와 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 거부민감성이 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 외모만족도와 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 자아탄력성이 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고등학생의 외모만족도와 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 검증한 동시에, 외모만족도가 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 거부민감성과 자아탄력성의 매개효과를 밝혔다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of rejection sensitivity and ego-resilience in the relationship between appearance satisfaction and psychological well-being of high school students. In order to achieve the purpose of this research, The subjects were 334 students from D High School Students, H High School Students located in Busan. Correlation analysis and step-wise multiple regression analysis were used for examining the research questions of this study. Findings are as follows: First, according to the analysis of the correlation in Appearance Satisfaction, Psychological Well-Being, Rejection Sensitivity and Ego-Resilience had a statistical correlation. Second, there was a partial mediating effect of rejection sensitivity in the relationship between appearance satisfaction and psychological well-being. Third, there was partial mediating effect of Ego-Resilience in the relationship between appearance satisfaction and psychological well-being. This study verified a hypothesis that about relationship between appearance satisfaction and psychological well-being and mediating effect of rejection sensitivity and ego-resilience of this relationship, there is a sense of meaning in this respect.
