국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지, 기본심리욕구, 자기주도학습능 =력 간의 관계를 알아보고, 부모의 자율성 지지와 자기주도학습능력 간의 관계에서 기본심리욕구의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경상남도에 소재한 일반 고등학교의 학생들을 대상으로 부모의 자율성 지지, 기본심리욕구, 자기주도적학습능력 척도로 구성된 설문을 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료 중 477부(남 167명, 여 310명) 를 분석에 사용하였다. SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 기본심리욕구의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석과 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 고등학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지, 기본심리욕구, 자기주도학습능력은 모두 유의미한 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 고등학생이 지각한 부모의 자율성 지지와 자기주도학습능력간의 관계에 있어서 기본심리욕구의 부분매개효과 가 나타났다. 연구결과는 자기주도학습능력을 향상시키기 위해서 고등학생들이 부모로부터 자율성을 많이 지지받는다고 지각하는 것뿐만 아니라 기본심리욕구(자율성, 유능성, 관계성)를 만족시키는 것이 중요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediated effects of basic psychological needs on the relations between parental autonomy support and self-directed learning ability of high school students. Participants were 477 high school students in South Korea. Three measurements were employed: the parental autonomy support scale, the basic psychological needs scale, and the self-directed learning ability scale. The collected data were analyzed by pearson correlation analysis, mediation analysis of Baron and Kenny (1986), and sobel test. The results of this study were summarized as follows. First, there were significant positive correlations among parental autonomy support, basic psychological needs, and self-directed learning ability . Second, the results of mediation analysis showed that there were partial mediated effects of basic psychological needs on the relationship between parental autonomy support and self-directed learning ability . In order to improve the self-directed learning ability , it is important for high school students not only to perceive that their parents are supporting their autonomy but also to satisfy basic psychological needs.
