국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 반향어를 사용하는 자폐 범주성 장애유아에게 텍스트 반응훈련 (textual response training)이 유아의 상호언어반응(intra-verbal responses)을 증가시키고 반향어 를 감소시키는 데에 효과가 있는지를 조사하는 데에 있다. 4세 자폐 범주성 장애 남자유 아가 이 연구에 참여하였다. 유아는 초기의 상호언어반응에 의미 없는 반향반응을 보였다. 이 연구대상에게 원문 텍스트를 통해 상호언어반응을 하도록 가르쳤다. 본 연구에서 는 텍스트 반응훈련과 관련된 기능적 관계를 살펴보고 상호언어반응 기간 동안에 유아의 반응이 증가하는지의 여부를 조사하기 위해 중다기초선설계(multiple baseline design)가 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 텍스트 자극(textual response training)이 남아의 상호언어반응을(인사, 개인정보, 성별인식)증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 텍스트 반응훈련(textual response training)이 더 광범위한 영역에 걸쳐 적용한다면 자폐 범주성 장애 유아들의 상호 언어반응증가에 도움을 줄 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of a textual response training in increasing intra-verbal responses and decreasing echolalic responses of a pre-school child with mild autism spectrum disorder. A four-year-six-month-old male child participated in the study. He emitted non-functional echoic responses under environmental conditions in which intra-verbal responses were required. A textual response training was used in which the child was taught to textually respond to common intra-verbal responses. A multiple baseline across behaviors was implemented to demonstrate a functional relationship between the use of the textual response training and an increase in functional responding during intra-verbals. As a result, it was found that textual response training increased the child’s appropriate intra-verbal responses across all of the three patterns (i. e., greeting, personal information, and gender identification). Therefore, it is deemed that textual response training would be beneficial to promote intra-verbal responses for young children with autism spectrum disorder.
