영문 초록

A bactrium secreting a protease was isolated from a river and characterized through various morphological, biochemical tests and VITEK system . The strain was identified to be Bacillus megaterium HYH-4. The strain showed similar growth kinetics at 30 and 37 °C. However protease activity was stronger in the supernatant cultured at 30 °C than in those at 37 °C. The extracellular protease of this strain cultured at 30 °C was optimal at pH 7.0 and 45°C.
