택견 수련에 대한 청소년의 인식과 교육적 의미: 택견 철학을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 청소년이 택견 수련 과정에서 택견의 가치를 어떻게 이해하고 받아들 이며, 택견 철학을 중심으로 어떻게 경험을 재구성하는지를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 특히 택견 기술 수련 과정에서 택견에 대한 인식과 그 경험의 교육적 의미를 탐색하였다. 이 연구를 위해서 4명의 중·고등학생을 선정하여 주요 사건을 바탕으로 심층면담과 사례기록으로 자료를 수집하고, 그에 대한 자료는 귀납적 범주 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과, 4명의 참여자는 택견 수련 과정에서 ‘낯선 길에 들어서다’, ‘색안 경에 비친 택견’, ‘택견의 상생공영 가치의 이해’를 경험하였다. 이러한 경험을 통해 4명의 참여자는 택견 기술의 수련 과정에서 ‘느림의 미학’, ‘어울림에 관한 이해’, ‘도 덕적 자아개념의 내면화’, ‘관계 지향적 태도 추구’ 등의 교육철학적 변화와 의미를 드러냈다. 이러한 연구 결과는 택견수련생이나 택견교육자가 택견 수련 과정에서 택견의 본질적 가치를 이해하는데 이론적 실천적 경험을 제공하는 계기가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate how adolescents understand and adopt the values of taekkyeon and reconstruct their experiences in the taekkyeon training process from taekkyeon philosophy. More specifically, it examined changes in their cognition toward taekkyeon in the training process of taekkyeon techniques and educational meaning of such experiences. Toward this end, the authors selected four middle and high school students, collected data on their key events via in-depth interviews and case records, and conducted an inductive categorical analysis on the collected data. The results of the study showed that, during the taekkyeon training process, the four participants experienced entering into a strange path , taekkyeon seen with a jaundiced eye and the understanding of the value of taekkyeon s mutual prosperity. Through these types of experiences, three participants demonstrated the following changes of significance in educational philosophy: aesthetics of slowness, understanding of harmony, internalization of the concept of ethical self, and pursuit of relationship-oriented attitude, among others. It is believed that such results will provide taekkyeon trainees or educators with theoretical and practical experiences in order to understand the essential value of taekkyeon in the training process.
