유치원 교사들의 퍼포먼스 미술활동 경험에 대한 긍정적인 요소 및 어려움

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 퍼포먼스를 활용한 미술활동 경험이 있는 교사들의 긍정적인 요소 및 어려움을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 A시와 G시의 유치원에서 학급을 담당하고 있고 1년 이상 퍼포먼스 미술활동 경험이 있는 교사 8명을 선정하여 2016 년 1월 4일∼2016년 3월 30일까지 7회의 개별 및 그룹 면담을 실시하였다. 본 연구결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사들이 생각하는 퍼포먼스 미술활동의 긍정적인 요소는 능동적으로 몰입하는 수업으로 다양한 재료와 매체를 경험할 수 있었으며 예술 장르의 총체로 활용됨으로써 또래와의 친밀한 관계형성이 이루어진 것으로 나타났 다. 둘째, 퍼포먼스를 활용한 미술활동 지도의 어려움은 다양하지 못한 지도 방법과 결과물 보존에 어려움을 나타냈으며 수업준비와 뒷정리가 많고 다양한 프로그램이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 퍼포먼스 미술활동의 활성화를 위한 기초자 료를 제공하리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

The present study conducted individual and group interviews on eight teachers in charge of classes at preschools in cities A and G with the purpose of finding out the positive elements and difficulties of teachers who have experience in art activities that utilize performances. The research results revealed, first of all, the positive element that children were able to experience various materials and media because the class enabled active immersion, and that, by utilizing the class as an aggregation of art genres, the children appeared to form close relationships. Second,ly, the difficulty of instructing art activities that utilize performances involved the monotonous instruction methods, the trouble of preserving the results, the high volume of class preparation and clean up, and the shortage of programs. By examining the positive elements and difficulties of art activity experience that utilize performances, the results of the study are expected to provide basic data for vitalizing performance art activities.
