교직이수학생의 사회적 책무성, 내재 학업동기 및 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계: 열망 군집유형 비교를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 열망 군집유형에 따른 집단 간 사회적 책무성, 내재 학업동기, 심리적 안녕감에 차이를 보이는지, 그리고 이러한 변인들 간의 구조적 관계는 어떠한지에 대해 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 표집대상은 서울 소재 A대학교에서 교직을 이수하고 있는 학부생과 교육대학원생 총 605명을 최종 분석대상으로 하였다. 학생 들의 열망 유형을 근거로 내재열망과 외재열망이 모두 높은 ‘고열망’ 집단(237명)과 내재열망과 외재열망이 중간 정도인 ‘중간열망’ 집단(211명), 내재열망이 뚜렷하게 높은 ‘내재열망’ 집단(157명)으로 집단을 구분하였다. 집단별 사회적 책무성, 내재 학업동기 및 심리적 안녕감을 살펴본 결과, ‘내재열망’ 집단이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 그 다음으로 ‘고열망’ 집단, ‘중간열망’ 집단의 순으로 나타났다. 또한, 변인들 간의 구조 관계를 살펴본 결과, 사회적 책무성이 내재 학업동기와 심리적 안녕감에 직·간접 적으로 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 내재 학업동기도 심리적 안녕감에 직접적으로 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 본 연구결과는 교직 이수학생들의 열망 군집유형을 파악하고, 이들의 사회적 책무성이 내재학업 동기와 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향력을 규명하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The study was to examine the characteristics of student groups based on their aspiration levels along with other variables such as social responsibility, intrinsic academic motivation and psychological well-being. The subjects were 605 undergraduate and graduate school students in teacher-training programs. Hierarchical cluster analysis showed that students were divided into three groups based on the scores of the aspiration (i.e. high aspiration group, moderate aspiration group, and intrinsic aspiration group). It was observed that there were significant differences in social responsibility and psychological well-being among the three groups. The structural equation model supported that social responsibility and intrinsic motivation had direct effects on psychological well-being. In addition, there was a mediating effect of intrinsic motivation on the relationship between social responsibility and psychological well-being. Implications of the findings were discussed.
