국문 초록

본 연구는 의대생의 학업소진과 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계에 대한 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울특별시 소재의 ㄹ의과대학에 재학 중인 본과 1~4학년 학생 157명(남 95명, 여 62명)을 연구대상으로 하여, 학업소진, 심리적 안녕감, 사회적 지지를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 측정 변인의 일반적 경향을 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였고, 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학업소진과 심리적 안녕감 간에 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 학업소진과 사회적 지지, 사회적 지지와 심리적 안녕감 간에 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타 났다. 둘째, 학업소진과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 의대생을 대상으로 하는 교육 과정과 비교과 프로그램에서 사회적 지지를 제공하는 개입의 필요성을 제언하였 다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, we investigate the moderating effect of social support on the relationship of academic burnout and psychological well-being of medical school students. 157 students(male; 95, female; 62) in medical school in Seoul area were participated in this study. Academic burnout, social support, psychological well-being were used as measurement tools. The collected data were subjected to correlation analysis to determine the general tendencies of the measured variables. Also, simple regression analyses were carried out to determine the relationships between variables. and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the moderating effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, psychological well-being and academic burnout were positively correlated with social support and also the relationship between academic burnout and psychological well-being were found to be negatively correlated. Second, social support between academic burnout and psychological well-being showed the moderating effect. This results suggested the need for interventions to provide the use of social support through education for medical students.
