고등학생 성별에 따른 정신건강 및 문제행동의 분위별 영향요인 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생의 성별에 따른 정신건강 및 문제행동의 수준을 확인하고, 일반적 특성을 고려하여 정신건강 및 문제행동 점수의 분위별 영향요인을 비교하였다. 2013년 11월부터 12월 동안 구조화된 설문지를 활용하여 수집된 일차 연구의 자료를 이차 분석하였으며, 연구 대상자는 S시에 소재한 일반 인문계 고등학교 두 곳에 재학 중인 2학년 고등학생 196명이었다. 고등학생의 일반적 특성과 정신건강 및 문제 행동을 SPSS/WIN 23.0과 STATA 13.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t 검정, 최소자승법 및분위회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 성별에 따라 외재화 문제에서 유의한 차이가 있었고, 세부항목별로 내재화 문제에서 섭식문제, 외재화 문제에서 비행문제, 유해환경이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 그리고 성별에 따른 정신건강 및 문제행동의 영향 요인을 규명하고 분위에 따라 비교 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 추후 학교보건 관련 교과내용과 청소년을 위한 상담소, 정신보건센터 등의 관련 기관에서 정신건강및 문제행동과 관련된 중재 개발 및 적용을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyse the mental health and behavioral problem according to the gender among high school students. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaire from September 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013. The subjects were 196 high school students in 2nd year in Seoul. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 and STATA 13.0 for t-test, ordinary least square, and quantile regression. The results were summarized as follows; there is a significant difference between gender in eating problems, delinquency, and harmful circumstance among internal and external problem, and the result of comparative analysis provided influencing factors of mental health and problem behavior according to the quantile. In conclusion, teaching strategies need to consider students’ general characteristics including the gender.
