영문 초록
This study attempted to identify and classify connected car services provided by 25 car manufacturers in 7 countries (Korea, USA, Germany, Japan, Sweden, France, and China).
There are 36 kinds of connected car services that can be classified into four categories: safety services, convenience services, infotainment services, and traffic efficiency services.
Safety services offer assistance for the driver in case of an accident, breakdown, theft, or parental control issue. Convenience services include various remotely operated actions using a smart phone, for example, locking, unlocking, starting, heating, or cooling the car.
Infotainment services combine all kinds of data usage for pleasure and information, such as music streaming and social media interaction. Typical example of traffic efficiency services is navigation and parking information services.
